Holmen Snowboards was founded by Kristian Holmen, a former professional boardercross rider with years of experience from the European Cup and World Cup circuits. Kristian grew up riding park, but his path soon led him into the fast and technical world of boardercross. Having been on a snowboard since the age of two, his connection to the sport runs deep.

After several years in Austria, Kristian and his girlfriend Lotte decided to move back home to Norway — bringing with them a dream: to build snowboards locally, combining performance, craftsmanship, and Norwegian design.

Before long, they teamed up with Esten, Kristian’s childhood friend, and Marius, Esten’s partner. Together, they founded Holmen Snowboards — a company built on friendship, experience, and a shared belief that great boards come from people who truly ride.

Every Holmen snowboard is designed, pressed, and tested in our own workshop. We focus on small-batch production with precision in every detail — boards made to perform, last, and feel alive under your feet.
